Sue Sowerby saw a gap in the market and decided to go for it! In 1992, the year of a recession and let’s not forget to mention surviving a number of others (well done team Sowerby), Sue set up The Sowerby Group. Oh and she was 8 weeks pregnant (Shh). With a background in Public Relations and working for large London advertising agencies, Sue decided it was time to think strongly about client service.  Here at Sowerby we’re a team. And when you retain us, we’ll work with you as an extension of your team. After all, our journey together is to reach the ultimate end goal. We’re fortunate because our clients love the one to one, friendly and personable service we provide. So not only do we deliver on customer service, we deliver on creativity too.

Witnessing clients being passed ‘down the line’ time and time again, Sue chose to release The Sowerby Group (boutique creative agency) into the world where she made a conscious decision to ensure that each and every client felt valued. 29 clients followed Sue who worked from a 2 up 2 down cottage in Epping, Essex. 26 years on, we still have some of those clients on board with us. That deserves a massive pat on the back, especially in such a competitive industry.  We offer expertise within brand identity, design & print, digital marketing, advertising, social media, signage & large format print, event management, marketing & pr and promotional gifts and love the variety, the challenge and the creativity each and every project has to offer. The fact that we work with clients in a range of industry sectors keeps us on our toes too!
