As a strategic digital marketing agency, but with a history that pre-dates the internet, the cforce skills embrace not only the latest digital marketing techniques but include a sound knowledge of offline marketing.

 C Force Sponsorship was born with consultancy for David Coulthard, who was about to become an F1 driver, and Russell Athletic who were moving into sponsorship with Formula 1 and rowing. Russell Athletic’s marketing programmes rapidly spread into full exploitation campaigns using one of the country’s greatest sporting duos, rowers Redgrave and Pinsent, to establish the brand in the UK sports trade.

By the time they won their gold medal in 1996, C Force Communications had arrived with Gary Crumpler and Tennant at the helm, concentrating on business-to-business campaigns for trade and technical companies. Latchways, SunGard (formerly Safetynet), Oyster Terminals and Malvern Instruments were early clients using a range of cforce skills across all elements of the marketing mix.

Our approach combines clear strategic insight with inspiration-led creativity and real geeky technical ability to create great campaigns. Whether that be in the construction industry or FMCG, AV or Custom Install, tech or leisure, drinks to financial, health & safety or IT.

Over the past 25 years we have helped our clients in all sorts of ways but probably our experience with Latchways provides the most illuminating aspect of the cforce story. In 1997 we met with our client Latchways to discuss how they could go from being a <£1m turnover company to a £50m turnover company. In 2015, still with cforce providing marketing support, Latchways was sold to MSA Safety for £124m!
