GearedApp started life in 2013, when founders Lara, Josh and Andrzej began working together during their Masters at Edinburgh Napier University. Having successfully built their first app for the Edinburgh Capitals Ice Hockey team, we recognised a need for Scotland-based mobile app developers and decided to found GearedApp.

We conduct a number of design workshops, both with you, and our development team. Through these workshops we’re able to establish user stories. These stories help us build the product flow, which guide your users through your products features.

The most important element at every stage of the project is communication. From feature mapping and prioritisation to scope changes and development route, we’ll be sure keep the lines of communication open. We’re used to working both closely and remotely with our clients so can set a level of communication that works for you.
What good is a product if it doesn’t work as intended? Over the years we have established a robust testing and quality assurance strategy to ensure that products are checked meticulously throughout the development cycle. We do this using both user and automated testing before they’re released.
